The BYU Invite is this Saturday. This is a very large meet with many very good teams. The course is spectator friendly because it is three loops of just over a mile. It is our first and only 5k of the season as our other meets are 3 miles. The finish is on the track and spectators can watch the race from the stands. There is a $5 admission charge per person. The bus will leave from Lincoln Lane at 7:40 AM.

The top 30 individuals and top 2 teams from each race receive awards. We should have several team members in the hunt for awards so plan to stick around for them. This will put the team bus back at Olympus around 2:00. I also want to remind all athletes they must inform me before leaving with a parent. If an athlete is riding home with another team members parent I need written permission to allow them to leave. Finally, athletes need to stay until the end of all races unless prior arrangements have been made with me.
