Banquet Details

Dear Family,

In case your invitation was lost (or has not been picked up yet because your son/daughter has not turned their uniform in yet), here are the banquet details. The banquet will be at the school cafeteria on Tuesday, October 23rd at 6:30 PM. Dinner will be tacos and we ask that you please sign-up to help with the sides/desserts using the link a few posts back. If you are having trouble with the link you can email me at tsmitchell@graniteschools.org and I can add you to the sign-up sheet. We would love to see your whole family there. We are asking for $5 an individual or $10 a family to help cover our costs. Team members are free. After dinner there will be a series of awards. Let me know if you have any questions.

State Meet

Thank you to everyone who came out to the state meet today to cheer on Annie, Nate, and Tyler. What a great day! Annie finished 31st in 19:57, Nate finished 66th in 17:05, and Tyler finished 103rd in 17:46. We also had three boys make Academic All-State: Tyler Walter, Kyle Johnsen, and Parker Rasmussen. Congratulations on a great season and I look forward to seeing everyone at the banquet.

Uniforms

Please remember to wash and turn in your uniforms. I will give you the banquet information when you come. For the parents, the banquet is Tuesday October 23rd at 6:30 PM.

Region Results/Tomorrow

We will meet tomorrow right after school to vote on some team awards. I will also have banquet information for you. W
e will then drive out to the junior high race for anyone who would like to go watch/cheer/recruit.

Thank you to everyone who helped with the pasta party tonight! Tomorrow we are back at Westlake HS one final time for the region meet. Race times are

I hope everyone can stay for awards. We will have several as well as some state meet qualifiers. Academic All-Region will be announced and there are awards for the top 20 in varsity and top 10 in JV. The top 4 teams qualify for state as well as 3 individuals. Looks like a great day for running fast!

Reminders

No meet this week. The region meet was originally scheduled for this Friday but is now next Tuesday , October 9th.

Any students or family members interested may purchase the extra spirit gear: shirts ($5), shorts ($14), and socks ($6).
